Technical Services Manager (Starting 3Q/2020)

Essential Responsibilities/Requirements of this position include but are not limited to the following

  • Support new sales through effective tool training
  • Develop clear, concise and effective technical communication materials (manuals…)
  • Engage R&D / engineering customers to promote new & existing products and identify new technology opportunities to address unmet needs
  • Manage team activities to investigate customer complaints and other technical tasks supporting the current business
  • Provide input on solution development and client requirements,
  • Train new and existing customers concerning products
  • Working temporarily on the customer side to represent Rennsteig
  • Performing of quality tests on Rennsteig tooling, e.g. cross-sections, pull out tests, electrical resistance tests…
  • Creating test reports


Rennsteig standard requirements:

  • Knowledge of electric cable and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, maintenance and quality control.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Competence of directing and training customers about the use of our tools
  • Skill of developing sales leads and maintaining his/her own customer base
  • Must be willing to travel (mostly national)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required
  • Ability to work well independently 
  • English is required/German language skills are a plus.
