Key Account Manager USA/CANADA

Essential Responsibilities/Requirements of this position include but are not limited to the following

  • Main focus: Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts by using fact-based selling methods
  • Interact with major clients on a regular basis, travel as required
  • Seek new customers, either known target accounts or new business found by prospecting
  • work with the Technical Services Manager to make new product introductions to key customers
  • Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction work with sales management and the shipping department on order management including monitoring status of key customer shipments
  • Make contacts at all levels and with all major customers, which might influence current and future buying decisions
  • Analyze customer information and business trends to identify and expand business opportunities


Rennsteig standard requirements:

  • Knowledge of electric cables and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Develops comprehensive short- and long-term sales strategies for all product types
  • Competence of directing and training customers about the use of our tools
  • Skill of developing sales leads and maintaining his/her own customer base
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required
  • Ability to work well independently 
  • English is required/German language skills are a plus.
